If
Sharing a Ride (lower school)
If you
plan on having your student ride home with someone else, please send a note that
morning. Please make sure this has been agreed on by the other parent
taking them home.
HOW TO SEND MEDICATIONS FOR YOUR STUDENTS TO RECEIVE DURING SCHOOL:
If
your children need to receive medications at school you must complete a
Medication Authorization form available on the Website and provide the
medication in its original container. Prescription medication must
be in the prescription container with the appropriate dosage and this must match
the authorization form-no exceptions. No student is to carry medication on
campus unless previously authorized in advance for an urgent medical condition.
WHEN YOU GET A CALL FROM
COVENANT DAY SCHOOL:
 If
your student calls you from CDS, please note that unless they leave you a
message, we do not know which phone in the school they may be calling from.
All of the phone lines appear as 704-847-2385. Make sure your students know to
leave you a message if they call you from any school phone.
HOW TO CALL ABOUT ABSENT
STUDENTS:
If
your student is absent from school, please call
704-814-1043
by 9:00am that morning. This is the Covenant Day School attendance voice
mail that will allow you to leavea message for the LS, MS or HS administrative
assistants. If we have not heard from you, we will call your
home to inquire.
WHEN YOUR SICK STUDENT
MAY RETURN TO SCHOOL:
Students must be fever free (temperature
below 100) for twenty four hours and also not throwing up or having diarrhea for
twenty four hours before they can return to school. Please be considerate
of others!
