Thank you for your support throughout the weekend.
It was a very emotional weekend for the guys with two close games.
I am proud of these guys. They are truly learning this game of basketball.
More importantly they are building strong Christian character. Learning to deal with
adversity is s a tough task for us all. We all question things at times but we must learn patience.
I am always thankful to see God working in each of these young men each day.

Worth Noting: Duncan Palmer had 10 points and 8 rebounds
Status on Will (from Cannon School):
He had surgery to put a rod in his leg. He is still dealing with some pain.
He is expected to return to school at the end of the week or early next week.
I dropped off the signed basketball and cards to the school this morning.

Tuesday was an exciting win over Gaston Christian.
The guys are really starting to pull together. Awesome!

David Loman 5 points with a stellar performance on defense.
Joey Glass 14 points he also did a great job on defense.
Chris Clark with 14 points and 9 boards. Way to go!
1/15/08 CDS vs Northside Christian: L 54-60
I want to thank you all for your support and kind words following the tough loss against Northside Academy.
For those who did not make the game it was a hard fought game. I could not be more proud of the guys and the
way they handled themselves during and following the game. Score CDS 54 – NS 60

during each game. Players who are not in
the game often have more impact than ever
realized. The cheering on of teammates in support of
offensive plays made and defensive stops mean so
much to the continuity of this basketball program.

I want to extend a thank you from the JV boys basketball team for
all you are doing to help the basketball program at CDS.
The score for our game on Friday was CDS 50 – WMC 39

40-25 CDS Won.
Duncan Palmer was player of the game with 10 points
Chris Clark and Joy Glass came in a close second with 8 points
Steven Dillon played some key minutes on defense at the small
forward position.
